Terms and conditions

These terms cover bookings made through this website, and the work and payments that follow at the shop. They are written in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ring us on 01 295 3829 and we will explain it.

Who you are dealing with

Ace Tyres & Exhausts is a trading name of Mega Factors Limited (registered in Ireland, company no. 174893, registered office 1A Heather Road, Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin 18), trading at 1A Heather Road, Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin 18, D18 H9N1. VAT number IE 6574893 C. Phone 01 295 3829, email info@acetyres.ie. Trading on Heather Road since 1991.

Bookings

• A booking reserves a time and a bay for your car. We confirm it by text or a phone call. If we cannot honour the time, we will offer you the nearest alternative.
• Please arrive at the booked time. A car that arrives late is fitted in the next free bay, which may mean a wait.
• If you need to change or cancel, ring us on 01 295 3829. There is no charge for changing or cancelling a booking for tyres we hold in stock.

Prices

• All prices on this website are in euro and include VAT at the current rate.
• A tyre price shown for fitting includes the tyre, fitting, balancing and the vEMC recycling charge on the tyre it replaces, unless the description says otherwise.
• Work found to be needed once the car is on the ramp is quoted to you before it is done. Nothing is added without your say-so.

Tyres we order in for you

• Where a tyre is not on our shelf, we order it from our supplier for you. Because the order is placed specifically for you, we ask for payment in full before we order it. For now, ring us on 01 295 3829 to order one; we confirm the size with you on the call.
• The size ordered is the size on your booking. Before you pay we offer a free sidewall check — a photo of a front and a rear tyre, read against the booking — so an easy mistake is caught before anything is bought in. The check is optional: if you choose to pay without it and the tyres ordered turn out not to be the size on your car, the order is yours and our refund policy applies.
• Card payments made online are taken in euro through Dojo’s secure checkout; we never see or hold your card number. Payments in the shop are taken by card or cash at the counter.
• If the supplier cannot deliver, or the tyre arrives late or damaged, we will offer an equivalent tyre or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
• Our refund policy sets out how cancellations and refunds work.

Your car

• We take every care with vehicles in our charge. Please remove valuables; we cannot be responsible for items left in the car.
• Tyres we remove are recycled through the vEMC scheme unless you ask to keep them when you drop the car in.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms takes away from your rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022. Goods we sell must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality; if they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. Last updated 21 October 2026.
